Hey guys I was there and this is how I remember most of the day. I truely forgot the opener but after that it was Peter Tosh then Santana. Now after a really long set break you started to here the sound of approaching helicopters,as you were looking up to see maybe 4-5 very large workhorse type copters directly overhead. Now this is something that is totally against FAA rules but it was the Stones and then they released thousands of ping pong balls w/ the Stones logo on then and some inflateable dolls because it was the Some Girls tour. While your attention was upward the Stones came onstage and launched into a very loud and tight Start Me Up and then rattled off what seemed like 40 songs. I did love going to those Days on the Green Shows in the mid to late 70s.

I was there also.Peter tosh sang,Happy birthday to the king happy birthday to the king to the song gonna miss you.didnt see any lips on the ping pong balls but they were on the ballons.lot of helo's and blow up love dolls.nobody ever talks about the high wire walker as he was walking the high wire from the stage to a telephone pole in high winds.when he finally made it after kicking off his shoes and the crowd
went crazy, then the front of the stage let go of the ballons(red whith white lips on them)
and the choppers let go of the ping pong balls and dolls and while everyone was sceaming the stones started rocking.it was amazing.crazy never seen anything like it before.til this day and I'm 52 maybe some pink floyd.maybe.
